These Terms of Use govern your use of programmerlab.co, including the contact form and project estimator. They are a website agreement, not a substitute for a signed project contract. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
1. Who we are
The website is operated by Programmer Lab (SMC-Pvt.) Ltd (“Programmer Lab”, “we”, “us”).
- UK address: Thistle St, Edinburgh New Town, Edinburgh, United Kingdom
- Pakistan address: Plaza No. 55, Block D Commercial, EME Society, Multan Road, Lahore, Pakistan
- Email: info@programmerlab.co
2. Using this website
You may browse the site, request a consultation, and use the estimator for a genuine business enquiry. You must use the site lawfully and must not attempt to disrupt it, probe it without permission, scrape it aggressively, or submit false or harmful content.
We may change, pause, or withdraw any part of the site. We do not guarantee that the site will always be available or error-free.
3. Enquiries are not a contract
Sending a form, email, or WhatsApp message, or generating an estimate, does not create a binding project. We are not obliged to accept every enquiry.
Paid work starts only when both sides agree in writing (for example a proposal, statement of work, or contract) covering scope, fees, timeline, and responsibilities.
4. Estimates
The estimator gives an indicative cost band and timeline from the answers you select. It is not a quotation, offer, or commitment.
Actual price and schedule depend on discovery, constraints, integrations, content, compliance needs, and written scope. Ranges can change after we review your requirements.
5. Services described on the site
Pages describing UI/UX, web, mobile, AI, LMS, healthcare software, SaaS, CRM, SEO, cyber security, and support are general descriptions of what we can offer. They are not a specification for your project and not a warranty that a particular method or certification will apply unless the written agreement says so.
6. Cyber security work
Vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, hardening, and similar services are provided only with written authorisation from a person who has the right to permit that work on the systems in scope.
You must not use this website, or any information on it, to attempt unauthorised access to any system. We do not accept instructions to test systems you do not own or are not authorised to test.
7. Healthcare and LMS projects
Healthcare and learning platforms can involve sensitive data and extra legal duties. Any such duties, including how data is hosted and who is controller or processor, are defined only in the project agreement. This website does not create those duties by itself.
8. Intellectual property
The website design, text, logos, and graphics belong to Programmer Lab or our licensors. You may not copy the site for a competing service or remove our branding from our materials without permission.
Portfolio items illustrate types of work. They do not transfer ownership of a client’s product to you, and they may include stylised or representative screens.
Intellectual property in software we build for a client is set out in that client’s contract, not in these website terms.
9. Third-party sites and tools
Links to LinkedIn, Facebook, WhatsApp, FormSubmit, or other sites are provided for convenience. Their terms and privacy practices apply when you use them. We are not responsible for those services.
10. Disclaimer
The website is provided “as is” for general information. We take care with content, but we do not warrant that every description, range, or example is complete or will suit your situation.
Nothing on this site is legal, medical, financial, or security-certification advice.
11. Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Programmer Lab is not liable for loss of profit, loss of data, or indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or reliance on an indicative estimate.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot legally be limited.
Liability for paid project work is governed by the written contract for that work, not by these website Terms.
12. Privacy
How we handle personal information is described in our Privacy Policy at programmerlab.co/privacy. By using the contact form or other enquiry channels, you acknowledge that policy.
13. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised Terms. The current version is at programmerlab.co/terms.
14. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. If you are in the United Kingdom, nothing here takes away rights you cannot legally waive under UK law.
If a court finds any part of these Terms unenforceable, the rest still applies.
